It is anticipated that by mid in May, the Quinapondan Tourism Information and Pasalubong Center will open. Not only it will open for tourists and visitors but will also open an opportunity for micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs to do their business at the Pasalubong Center as well. As early as today, the Municipal Tourism Office headed by Engr. Anacleto Terencio Jr. is currently conducting orientations and seminars with handicraft makers and native delicacies makers. He even tapped with the research team of Eastern Samar State University led by Engr. Jenalyn M. Gonzaga to enhance the quality and prolong the shelf life of our native delicacies.

With the support of our beloved mayor Atty. Rafael S. Asebias and Hon. Vice Mayor Leo Jasper Candido, they encourage small time business owners from Quinapondan to continue improving their products in order to fully met the standard of customers from different places so they keep on coming back.

As of today, we are improving our very own version of SUMAN SAKSAK, a tasty treat made of cassava famous during feasts and important celebrations. This is why we have tapped with research team from ESSU-SALCEDO so they can help us and share with us their expertise on how to prolog the shelf life of SUMAN SAKSAK. Hopefully, during Founding Anniversary, we can already launch the product in a very nice packaging and we are positive that this product will be known in the whole country.
