After 5 years of hiatus, the Search for the most beautiful, empowered, sexiest and smartest lady in the Municipality of Quinapondan is back. In the year 2017, the Search for Mutya ng Quinapondan hailed Miss Christy Joy C. Terencio of Brgy. 07 Poblacion as Mutya ng Quinapondan. Together with her received the award as Binibining Turismo 2017 is Ma. Charisse Quinto, Binibining Kalikasan is Miss Michelle Pabello, Miss Kiezylyn Factor as First Runner up and Miss Mariflor Cabos as 2nd Runner up. Despite not getting the crown, it was Miss Michelle Pabello who represented the Municipality of Quinapondan in higher pageant levels such as Binibining Sinilangan Samar Turismo, Miss Liberation and Miss Earth Philippines – Eastern Visayas.
Due to consistent public demand, the Search for Miss Quinapondan has been realized just recently on September 7, 2023 during the LGU Night Presentation. This year’s new set of candidates were more aggressive, competitive and empowered young ladies who are ready to do anything to conquer the Miss Quinapondan crown.
The 8 lovely candidates were: Miss Euva Shaira Quinto from Brgy. Sto. Nino – 2nd Runner-up, Miss Shyrine Collen Dalina from Brgy. Anislag, Miss Eunice Jean Legarte from Brgy. San Vicente crowned as Miss Quinapondan, Miss Mary Justine Asadon from Brgy. Bagte – 1st Runner-up, Miss Katrina Joyce Calvadores from Brgy. 07 Poblacion, Miss Nessa Abuyen – 4th Runner-up from Brgy. San Vicente, Miss Sheena Baula from Brgy. Buenavista and Miss Rechelle Albutra from Brgy. Sto. Nino – 3rd Runner-up.
Out of these 8 equally beautiful young ladies, it was Eunice Jean Legarte who displayed significant talent, brilliance in answering the question and answer portion, nailed the swimwear competition and exuded confidence in the production number. No wonder she was hailed and crowned Miss Quinapondan 2023 and bagged the prize of 20,000.00.
The Search for Miss Quinapondan 2023 was a huge success as we were able to produce and groom a beautiful, smart and sexy young lady who will represent the Municipality of Quinapondan in Provincial, Regional and National Beauty Pageant arena. We are confident that the newly-crowned Miss Quinapondan will bring pride to this progressive municipality when she embarks her journey in pageantry.
